iPhone 5s, 3 Most dissapointing factors.

1. The screen remains the same

As I noted back in August, Apple needed to do just one thing to keep me as an iPhone customer: enlarge the screen. I'm not looking for an iPhablet, mind you, just something in the Galaxy S4 range to better accommodate my aging eyes.
Alas, it wasn't to be. The iPhone 5S has the same screen dimensions as the iPhone 5, which is merely half an inch taller than my iPhone 4S. I'm afraid that's a big no-sale for me.

2. No improvement to battery life

I don't need or want a faster processor in my phone, and I suspect the same is true for 98 percent of all users. What I do need is a bigger, better battery. The iPhone 5s doesn't have one.
Yes, Apple managed to deliver more or less the same talk, video, Internet, and standby times despite including a faster processor, but that's not an improvement. That's treading water while carrying more weight.

3. Still no 128GB model

I've never understood why Apple doesn't offer this option. Most users carry growing libraries of apps, games, music, movies, and the like, but Apple has never seen fit to push past the 64GB limit for iPhone storage. Most Android phones have a microSD slot that allows virtually unlimited storage -- maybe not in a big contiguous chunk, but at least you have the extra breathing room if you need it.
Schiller talked up the iPhone 5S as the "gold standard" of smartphones. So where's the 128GB option many users have spent years clamoring for?

Google Fiber - GBPS Speed is here.

Google Fiber is a project to build a broadband Internet network infrastructure using fiber-optic communication. The initial location was chosen following a competitive selection process. Over 1,100 communities applied to be the first recipient of the technology. On March 30, 2011, Google announced that Kansas City, Kansas, would be the first community where the new network would be deployed. The network was subsequently rolled out to Kansas City, Missouri, with plans underway for a further expansion to several other Kansas City area suburbs, as well as Austin, Texas, and Provo, Utah.
After building an infrastructure of the network, in July 2012, Google announced pricing for Google Fiber. The service will offer three options. These include a free broadband internet option, a 1 Gbps internet option for $70 per month and a version that includes television service for $120 per month. The internet service includes 1 terabyte of Google Drive service and the television service includes a 2 terabyte DVRrecorder in addition to the Google Drive service. The DVR will record up to eight live television shows simultaneously. The television options also includes a Nexus 7 tablet that will act as a remote control for the system. In addition, television service will also stream live program content on iPad and Android tablet computers. Neighborhoods that receive the service will be selected through demand from Kansas City area residents and Google has set up a website to pre-register for the service.

Not Key Lime Pie, Its Kit Kat.

In a surprise twist, Google announced that the next version of Google's operating system will be named KitKat in honor of the Hershey's (or Nestle) chocolate bar, instead of Key Lime Pie, which previous code numbers and images had led us to believe.
If a software company co-branding with a confectionery brand feels unprecedented, you'd be correct. The closest we've come to seeing another brand work with Android came in 2010 with the 2.2 Froyo release. Feeling more like a friendly gesture than a legal arrangement, nationwide frozen yogurt chain TCBY congratulated Google.

Everyone thought that the next version of Android would be called Key Lime Pie, but Google has surprised everyone by naming it after the Nestle chocolate bar, the Kit Kat. Yep, you read that right, the next version of Android is named after an actual chocolate bar.
Google is well known for naming each version of its Android operating system after desserts and treats, such as Gingerbread, Honeycomb and Jelly Bean. It's also incremented its codenames alphabetically, giving everyone the view that Android 4.4 would be called Key Lime Pie.

Google's Sundar Pichai, head of both Android and Chrome, has confirmed that the next version of Android will be called KitKat.

Microsoft to buy Nokia.

Microsoft has agreed a deal to buy Nokia's
mobile phone business for 5.4bn euros ($7.2bn;
 £4.6bn).
Nokia will also license its patents and mapping services to Microsoft. Nokia shares jumped 35% on the news, whereas Microsoft's fell more than 5%.
The purchase is set to be completed in early 2014, when about 32,000 Nokia employees will transfer to Microsoft.
Nokia has fallen behind rivals Samsung and Apple, while critics say Microsoft has been slow into the mobile market.
Describing the deal as a "big, bold step forward", Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballmer told the BBC that his company was in the process of transforming itself from one that "was known for software and PCs, to a company that focuses on devices and services".

Macbook Pro Reviews

The MacBook Pro is a line of Macintosh portable computers introduced in January 2006 by Apple Inc., and now in its third generation. Replacing the PowerBook G4, the MacBook Pro was the second model, after the iMac, to be announced in the Apple–Intel transition. It is also the high-end model of the MacBook family and is currently produced with 13- and 15-inch screens, although a 17-inch version has been offered previously.
The first generation MacBook Pro appeared externally similar to the PowerBook G4, but used the Intel Core processors instead ofPowerPC G4 chips. The 15-inch model was released in January 2006, a 17-inch model in April, both of which received several updates andCore 2 Duo processors later in the year.

Devil May Cry Trailer.

Devil May Cry (Japanese: デビル メイ クライ?) is a series of five action-adventure hack and slash video games with a modern dark fantasy andgothic setting. The series was developed by Capcom and created by Hideki Kamiya. Originally intended to be a sequel in Capcom's Resident Evilseries, Devil May Cry was such a radical departure from the series' style that it was developed into a new property entirely. The series centers on the main character Dante's goal of avenging his mother's murder by exterminating demons. The gameplay consists of heavy combat scenes in which the player must attempt to extend long chains of attacks while avoiding damage in order to exhibit stylized combat; this element along with time and the amount of items collected and used are taken under consideration when grading the player's performance.

GTA 5 Soundtrack Leaks.

GTA games are famed for their soundtracks, and GTA 5 is no letdown, if this list is anything to go by. The usual suspects like N.W.A. and Snoop Dogg are all present and correct, along with Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Steve Miller Band, Rick James and Queen. As before, each station has its own genre, with punk, classic rock, West Coast rap, pop and more. There's also a station called Soulwax FM, playing the electropop outfit's remixes and own productions.
You can see a list of the tracks here. It's not exhaustive, but there's a lot to be going on.

So how genuine is the leak? Well Sony has apologised for it, which suggests it's the genuine article. "Regrettably, some people who downloaded the digital pre-order of Grand Theft Auto Vthrough the PlayStation Store in Europe were able to access certain GTA V assets," the apology reads. "These assets were posted online. We have since removed the digital pre-order file from the PlayStation Store in Europe.

Samsung Galaxy S4 - One of a powerful Samsung.

Samsung's new Galaxy S4 smartphone is an excellent device from a hardware standpoint. Measuring 5 inches diagonally, the screen is slightly larger than that on its predecessor, the Galaxy S III. Yet the S4 is a tad lighter and smaller overall. The S4's display is also much sharper, at 441 pixels per inch compared with 272 on the S III. The S4 has one of the sharpest screens out there.

The Android operating system it runs is excellent, too, and in recent years the Google-made system has become a healthy competitor to Apple's iOS system for iPhones. Like most Android phones, the S4 comes with a suite of useful Google apps, including Gmail, YouTube, Google Maps and the voice assistant Google Now. Because Google lets device makers customize Android to suit their needs, Samsung and others have been adding their own distinguishing features.

When you point to an email or calendar entry with your finger, you see contents pop up in a bubble. That way, you don't have to open the entry and find the back button to return to what you were doing. Samsung has this feature on the Galaxy Note 2 phone, but that's designed for use with a stylus. On the S4, you simply hover over the entry with your finger. I wish it would work with more apps. For instance, you can use it with Android's generic email app, but you can't on the one made specifically for Gmail.

Will the internet users raise up $32 million to build Ubuntu edge smartphone?
Canonical, the company behind Ubuntu, is launching a crowdfunding campaign to finance its first Ubuntu smartphone, the Ubuntu Edge. For the company to succeed with its plans, it'll need to raise $32 million in just under a month. The Ubuntu Edge will be a 4.5-inch 720p smartphone with a multi-core processor, 4GB of RAM, and an unprecedented 128GB of storage. It'll be LTE-ready and run the touch-optimized Ubuntu Linux, of course, which we've had the opportunity to play with a few times over the past months. Users committing to either $600 today or $830 thereafter will get an Ubuntu Edge in May 2014.

Chromecast

Chromecast works with devices you already own, including Android tablets and smartphones, iPhones®, iPads®, Chrome for Mac® and Chrome for Windows®. Browse for what to watch, control playback, and adjust volume using your device. You won't have to learn anything new.

Install and run Chromecast on your other Android device. It should scan for, and detect, your CheapCast "device."
Now run any of the three apps that are currently Chromecast-compatible: Google Play (Music or Movies & TV), Netflix, and YouTube. Once you start playing a video, you should see the Chromecast icon in an upper toolbar. Tap it, then choose CheapCast.
That's it! Now you've got yourself a poor man's Chromecast. The developer notes that the app is an early beta, so don't be surprised if you run into some glitches along the way.

When Google announced the Chromecast wireless streaming device it rocked the tech industry. For just $35 shipped, the Google Chromecast will turn any ‘dumb’ HDTV into a ‘smart’ TV that is capable of streaming media from Netflix and YouTube. You can also send entire tabs from the Chrome browser on Macs and PCs, which means you can basically put any site or service on TV with just the click of a button. This tiny little HDMI dongle offers a painless way to wirelessly transfer your favorite content from your phone, tablet or laptop straight to your TV.
